About James

JAMES is a Wexford native who has had great involvement in the local community. Born and raised in Rowe Street, his father Jim Ffrench was a butcher & grocery on Wexford Main Street for several decades and also taught swimming to many generations of Wexford children and adults.Though he later went to Waterford and Cork to study accounting, his strong attachment to County Wexford encouraged him to return to his roots where while working in Wexford he met and married a local girl, Shirley whom also has strong Wexford connections, Hannans formerly of South Main Street. Though he has a busy schedule, James takes the time to give back to the community and is a dedicated member of theWexford Lions Club and former treasurer.

James has worked with various firms in Leinster, working on all sizes and types of clients, progressing to establishing his own firm in 2013.

James J Ffrench is a Chartered Certified Accountant & Statutory Auditor who offers a wide range of services including Tax Consultancy and Management Consultancy. Bookkeeping & Payroll.

Many people feel that they don’t need an accountant unless they are business owners. However, James believes that accountants can provide a helpful service to all. One of his specialities is working with PAYE workers who need assistance with claiming their tax credits. Even from just one meeting with James, one can discover the potential savings that could be made.

I dont believe that meeting with your accountant should be a stressful experience as some of my clients have told me of their past experiences. As a Chartered Certified Accountant with 24 years worth of experience, I pride myself on my ability to make accounting & taxation accessible and understandable to all. It still amazes me considering the downturn in our economy and the implication on their pay-packet , the number of people that are not aware of their basic tax entitlements regarding medical costs, tuition costs etc.

Another issue for many people when it comes to accounting is time. In the modern day, most of us find it difficult to squeeze in regular appointments with their accountant, particularly business owners with hectic schedules. I cannot always expect my clients to fit around a 9 to 5 working day but make myself available around my clients’ schedule, a fact appreciated by many. Whilst based in my home office, I am willing to travel to meet with clients at a time and location that best suits them. I have built up a loyal client base in Leinster and further afield and I am always thinking to the future. This flexibility extends throughout all aspects of my practice.

If you are looking for a professional, approachable and flexible accountant, look no further than James J Ffrench FCCA. You can rest assured that he will provide only the best quality service.
